US intelligence refutes Trump and Putin's statement about the encirclement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region.

According to preliminary data from unnamed American and European officials, Ukrainian military forces in the Kursk region are not encircled by the Russian Armed Forces, although Trump and Putin assert otherwise. This information was released by Reuters.
According to a source from the publication, US intelligence agencies shared this assessment with the White House as early as last week, but Trump continues to ignore this data and claims that Ukrainian troops are surrounded in the Kursk region of Russia.
According to official sources, although Ukrainian forces are under pressure from Russian troops, they are still not fully encircled.
Experts believe that Putin's statement on March 13 about this situation is misinformation aimed at creating the impression of concessions from Russia and using them to influence negotiations on a ceasefire.
Earlier, there were reports of a retreat of Ukrainian forces from the Kursk region.
