Woman killed her parents and hid their bodies at home for four years.

A woman from the UK, Virginia McCallow, hid the bodies of her parents, whom she killed, in the house. She told neighbors that her parents had retired to the coast. This horrific story is told by the BBC.
Concealment
One of the neighbors said he always saw the curtains drawn in the McCallow house and never saw anyone inside.
The family doctor expressed concern over the prolonged absence of his patients, but the daughter always excused it by saying they couldn't meet due to the pandemic.
It should be noted that it was during this Time that there was a quarantine in the UK.
Suspicion about the fate of the pensioners later arose with the owner of the company renting them a television when he couldn't retrieve his equipment. McCallow's daughter suddenly refused it on behalf of her parents.
Discovery of bodies
In 2023, the police received a call from the Essex County security service, who were worried about the patients as their daughter barred access to them.
It turned out that John McCallow was poisoned, and his body was found in a foam block hideout, covered with a blanket. His wife's body was found in a closet on the upper floor of the house. Experts established that the woman had been beaten with a hammer, stabbed with a knife, and also poisoned with medication.
When the police came to the house, Virginia was calm and stated that she had been waiting for this day. She said she deserves punishment, and the verdict might give her some peace.
Motive
It was revealed that Virginia abused her parents' trust, living in their house and spending their money, accumulating large debts in their names.
She forged letters indicating that her parents lost money due to fraud, but in reality, she was spending it.
In total, Virginia gained financial benefits of £149,697 from their pensions, credit cards, and sale of assets.
The court found she also spent £21,000 on online gambling from 2019 to 2023.
The Chelmsford court sentenced Virginia McCallow to life imprisonment for the murder of her parents, with a minimum term of 36 years.
