Zelensky met with the head of the French Foreign Ministry - what they talked about.


The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky met on Monday, July 21, with French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barro. They discussed, among other things, defense assistance for Ukraine.

According to Zelensky, they talked about the need for defense assistance, particularly in the area of air defense systems, training of Ukrainian military personnel, as well as the results of meetings within the framework of the 'Ramstein' initiative.
'We are ready to expand joint military-industrial production', emphasized the president.
Zelensky also reported on the interest of French companies in producing drones in Ukraine. The meeting also discussed issues regarding sanctions against Russia and negotiations on Ukraine's possible accession to the European Union.
'I thank France, President Macron, and personally Jean-Noel Barro for the support we have felt since the beginning of the full-scale war. Thank you for your solidarity with our people!', emphasized Zelensky.
It should be noted that today a meeting took place within the framework of the 'Ramstein' initiative, which included representatives from 52 countries.
