Seven children have returned from occupation - what pressure was exerted on them by the Russian Federation.

Ukrainian children who were in temporarily occupied territories have been successfully brought back. Russian occupiers used coercive measures against them.
Return of children from occupation
According to the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets, it was possible to return seven Ukrainian children aged 6 to 17 from occupied territories.
'All returned families endured significant restrictions in the temporarily occupied territories: they were forced to accept 'the advantages of the Russian world' and obtain Russian passports. Children were forced to attend Russian schools with ideological propaganda. Furthermore, families faced deprivation of parental rights for refusing to accept 'promising education'
Moreover, one family that lacked Russian documents faced problems accessing medical care and safe movement, while another family that supported the Armed Forces of Ukraine became a target of persecution by the occupiers.
'All families and their relatives needed assistance in relocating to controlled territory. Thanks to our institution and volunteer organizations, they received support and assistance in leaving the occupied territories,' said Lubinets.
Thus, it was possible to rescue another group of Ukrainian children from occupied territories, which is a very important event for their families and all of Ukraine.
The active efforts of authorized and volunteer organizations contribute to the return of children from occupied territories and help them feel safe and protected again.Read also
