In Ukraine, the procedure for appointing payments to IDPs has been simplified.

Evacuated internally displaced persons are given a simplified procedure for appointing payments
The Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine announced a simplified procedure for appointing payments for internally displaced persons (IDPs) who are evacuated from dangerous regions of the country.
According to the new procedure, evacuated Ukrainians are entitled to receive financial assistance for six months. This support is guaranteed both centrally to those leaving and to those who are evacuating independently.
To make the process more efficient, regional military administrations collect data on residents who are leaving by rail or with the help of volunteer organizations. This information is transferred weekly to the Ministry of Social Policy, where it is entered into the Payment Assignment Registry.
Special attention is paid to citizens who plan to evacuate independently. They are recommended to inform the local military administration about their intentions a day or two before departure. This will allow their data to be entered into the payment receipt list, ensuring uninterrupted support after relocation.
It should be noted that previously Ukrainians were informed on how to receive evacuation payments and assistance in 2024.
