In Odessa, a three-year-old child fell out of the window of a five-story building.

In Odessa, on August 31, a three-year-old boy fell from the fifth floor of a building. Law enforcement officers are studying the causes of this accident. This was reported by the Main Department of the National Police in the Odessa region.
«The child fell out of the window of the balcony of an apartment located on the top floor of a five-story building in the Peresyp district of Odessa», – law enforcement officers reported.
It was found that the accident happened when the boy's father went to another room for a few minutes. The child used a chair to reach the windowsill, leaned on the mosquito net, and fell out.
The child has now been taken to the regional children's hospital.
«Previously, this family was not on the radar of law enforcement. They have a positive character reference at their place of residence. Now the police are investigating all the circumstances of the incident», – added the law enforcement officers.
The police urge adults to be attentive to small children and not to allow them near windows.
Recall that in July in Chernivtsi on Sadova Street, a little girl fell out of the window of the third floor. She was taken to the hospital with a traumatic brain injury and fractures of the base of the skull and pelvic bones.
Earlier, a two-year-old girl fell out of a window in one of the high-rise buildings in the Darnytskyi district of Kyiv.
When the police arrived at the scene, they found that the parents were intoxicated. At that moment, the girl independently climbed onto a chair on the balcony and fell out of the window.
