Ukrzaliznytsia adds fifty carriages to pre-New Year trains.


AT 'Ukrzaliznytsia' responds to passenger demand during the holidays and adds 52 carriages to trains across Ukraine. This information was provided by the company's press service.
The company decided to add 52 carriages to trains throughout the country, including 5 carriages to train No. 79/80 Lviv - Kyiv - Dnipro, the press service reported.
Additionally, extra carriages have been assigned for the following trains:
- No. 81/82 Kyiv - Uzhhorod,
- No. 95/96 Kyiv - Rakhiv,
- No. 39/40 Zaporizhzhia - Solotvyno,
- No. 127/128 Zaporizhzhia - Lviv,
- No. 121/122 Mykolaiv - Kyiv and others.
According to the company, this will provide about 4 thousand additional seats for passengers in all directions across the country.
Furthermore, 'Ukrzaliznytsia' ensures peak transportation for organized children's groups during the holiday period. According to the data, over 7 thousand passengers in this category will use rail transport before the New Year (up to December 31).
Earlier, it was reported that the number of trains would be increased in connection with Christmas and New Year holidays. Tickets can be purchased via the mobile app, on the website, or at ticket offices.
'Ukrzaliznytsia' also announced the launch of an additional train for the Christmas holidays. From December 18 to January 12, train number 201/202 will operate on the route Kharkiv - Vorokhta - Kharkiv. This train will complement the schedule of the existing train number 1/2, which runs every other day.
By the way, 'Ukrzaliznytsia' introduced a new schedule for 2025, which will come into effect on December 15. The changes include the launch of new routes, optimization of routes, and reduction of travel Time for many destinations.
