Ukrainian students can receive scholarships in the Czech Republic: where to apply.


Ukrainian students in the Czech Republic will be allowed to receive scholarships. Registration must be completed by September 30.
According to the website of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic, the Czech Republic offers government scholarships for studying in master's or doctoral programs at universities in the Czech Republic. 20 places have been allocated for Ukrainians for the academic year 2025-2026: 13 places in Czech-language programs and 7 in English-language programs.
Please note that receiving a scholarship does not guarantee the possibility of going abroad for military service-bound citizens of Ukraine.

Students can receive scholarships for the following specialties:
- technical specialties (energy, mechanical engineering, production and processing, transport);
- mathematics and statistics;
- computer science;
- cybersecurity;
- economics and finance;
- chemistry;
- agriculture and ecology.
The scholarship will cover tuition and basic expenses associated with staying and studying in the Czech Republic. Currently, students enrolled in master's programs receive a scholarship of 16,000 Czech korunas per month, and doctoral students receive 17,000 Czech korunas per month. Living, food, and public transportation expenses will be covered by the scholarship holders from the scholarship funds.

Each applicant must complete the electronic application form by September 30, 2024.
