Ukrainian edition of 'Radio Liberty' cuts broadcasting: details.

The Ukrainian edition of 'Radio Liberty' informs about a reduction in broadcasting due to financial problems. The last episode of the program 'Freedom. Morning' aired on April 11. Starting from April 14, a part of the employees will be sent on vacation. This step is necessary as 'Radio Liberty' fights for funding in US courts. Since April 1, some employees have already been on vacation. Due to limited financial resources, 'Radio Liberty' has also reduced cooperation with freelancers. In March, it stopped the podcasts 'Dialogues with Portnikov' and 'Historical Freedom.'
US President Donald Trump also signed a decree to reduce funding for the media organization 'Voice of America', which involves stopping funding for the program 'Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty'. The US Agency for Global Media also announced the termination of the grant agreement that funded the work of 'Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty'. The President and CEO of 'Radio Liberty' called this move a great gift for America's enemies.
In this regard, 'Radio Liberty' has sued the US Agency for Global Media and organization officials in order to block the termination of the federal grant. However, later the Agency decided to withdraw its decision to cancel the grant for 'Radio Liberty'.
