Kherson introduces one-Time payments for residents in need of medical treatment
In Kherson, a system of one-time payments is being introduced for residents who require serious medical treatment. This was reported by the mayor Roman Mrochko as part of the 'Social Protection' program.
According to the published information, patients with oncological diseases who are undergoing inpatient treatment or need surgeries can receive support in the amount of 5000 hryvnias. For cancer patients undergoing outpatient treatment, a payment of 3000 hryvnias is provided. The same amount, 5000 hryvnias, is allocated for surgeries on the heart and blood vessels, as well as for joint endoprosthetics.
The local authorities have organized special phone lines for consultations regarding the application for payments in each district of the city. Residents of the Dniprovs'kyi district can call 099 25 35 491, the Korabelnyi district - 050 87 51 141, and the Central district - 066 44 79 236.
