Ukrainians may be left without heating due to gas shortages: expert Popenko warned of serious problems.

Consumers face heating problems next winter
Head of the Union of Consumers of Communal Services of Ukraine Oleg Popenko warned about possible serious problems with gas supply and heating for Ukrainians next winter. He believes that a cold winter could lead to restrictions in the work of heat and utilities and a drop in apartment temperatures.
According to Oleg Popenko, the management of Naftogaz of Ukraine is absurd, complicating the gas situation. Ineffective management has already led to untimely gas purchases and expensive acquisitions. Moreover, the expert warns that there are currently low gas reserves in Ukraine, which could significantly complicate the situation.
'If the temperature holds at -10 degrees for at least one month, we will not have enough physical gas'- emphasized the expert.
However, despite the difficulties with gas supply for the population, it is expected that in the event of a cold winter, restrictions for heat and utilities will become a reality.
In his conclusion, Popenko expressed outrage at the shortcomings in gas supply and heating, emphasizing the need for urgent measures to avoid a crisis situation with energy supply in the future.
