Ukraine to Test Estonian Missiles Designed to Destroy Drones.

Ukraine will receive missiles from an Estonian company for air defense, which will be used to destroy drones. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
The meeting of the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Brigadier General Anatolii Klochko, with the company's management took place in Kyiv.
The missiles that Ukraine plans to test are designed to counter unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and can shoot down targets at an altitude of up to 2 km.
«Our goal is to help Ukraine win this war. For this, we propose a sample of a new inexpensive missile for shooting down aerial targets, primarily unmanned aerial vehicles,» said Kusti Salm, CEO of Frankenburg Technologies.
He also stated that in case of successful tests and agreement on further use, production of these missiles could be organized in Ukraine.
The parties allowed the next step to consider financial support for missile production.
Deputy Minister of Defense Anatolii Klochko emphasized that it is very important for Ukraine to have a wide arsenal of missile weapons for defense against Russian aggression.
He called on foreign manufacturers to provide their weapons to Ukraine and test them in combat conditions.
«We are open to cooperation and ready to use various samples of modern weapons,» said the Deputy Minister.
Currently, the Pentagon plans to use all available funds to support Ukraine until the end of Joe Biden's presidential term – until Donald Trump's inauguration on January 20. This was reported by the Deputy Spokesperson of the US Department of Defense, Sabrina Singh.
The Ministry of Defense currently has $6 billion to support Ukraine. Of which, about $4 billion has been allocated under the Presidential Drawdown Authority (PDA), where weapons are taken from US Army stocks, and about $2 billion for the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative (USAI), where weapons are ordered directly from manufacturers.
Singh noted that deliveries of weapons under the PDA program have already started, some weapons are arriving in Ukraine within days and weeks, others may take longer.
It should also be noted that Germany will continue to provide assistance to Ukraine until 2025, even in case of a budget delay for the next year. The funds allocated for this can be used within the framework of temporary budget management if the budget for 2025 is not adopted on Time due to the collapse of the coalition government.
