Germany will stop issuing documents to men from Ukraine, but not everywhere: what is known.

Ukrainian men in Germany were denied the issuance of a special document
The German state of Hesse has decided not to issue a special document to Ukrainian men of conscription age, which can be used instead of a passport for traveling abroad. This information was confirmed by the Hesse Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs on July 31, responding to a request from deputies from the Alternative for Germany party, known for its right-wing populist views.
"Foreigners' offices in Hesse generally will not issue German certificates replacing travel documents for Ukrainian men of mobilization age. They are able to go to Ukraine to obtain a passport and complete military service," the ministry said.
Currently, about 20,000 Ukrainian men aged 18 to 60 live in Hesse. In addition, the ministry noted that encouraging men to return to Ukraine and participate in the defense against Russian aggression are "understandable interests of Ukraine."
It is important to note that there are special travel documents in Germany that can be used instead of passports. They are issued to foreigners in exceptional situations when they cannot obtain or do not have a regular passport. The decision to issue such a document is made on a case-by-case basis.
It was previously reported that Germany may sharply reduce payments to Ukrainians.
