Kyivstar announced when it will be able to provide 10 hours of communication without electricity.

Kyivstar plans to operate longer without electricity
The mobile operator 'Kyivstar' intends to extend the network's operation Time to 10 hours during power outages. This was announced by the company's CEO Oleksandr Komarov. Currently, the network can only operate for 4 hours under power absence, but by mid-2025 this time will increase to 10 hours.
The company also plans to replace the uninterruptible power supply systems in the fixed internet network, replacing about 90,000 devices. Kyivstar has already built 1,500 base stations for continuous operation in the 2100 MHz spectrum and plans to construct 2,300 more base stations.
Execution of these plans is complicated by inflation, rising metal prices, a shortage of labor resources, and issues with movement across Ukraine. However, the CEO of 'Kyivstar' noted that processes involving the government have accelerated. It is worth reminding that 'Kyivstar', along with Vodafone and Lifecell, with government support, launched a new communication feature.
