Two regions have introduced power outages.


Forced power outages in Odesa and Dnipropetrovsk due to Russian shelling
In Odesa and Dnipropetrovsk, electricity companies are forced to disconnect power due to restrictions caused by Russian shelling. This was reported by the Ukrenergo website.
Currently, repair work is being carried out to remove damaged equipment and restore stable electricity supply for all consumers.
Reduction in electricity consumption during warming
In Ukraine, a decrease in electricity consumption is observed against the backdrop of warming. As of February 26 at 9:30 AM, the level of electricity consumption is 1.3% lower compared to the previous day.
Despite this, the Ukrainian energy system continues to recover after massive attacks by Russian troops using missiles and drones. Emergency recovery work is underway at energy facilities.
Accident at Dniprovskaya TPP and heating issues
An accident occurred at the Dniprovskaya thermal power plant, causing some residents of Dnipro to have heating problems. In the coming days, they will be disconnected from heating.
It is worth noting that today, February 26, planned power outages are only for industrial enterprises and businesses.
