Former 'Wagner' fighters are fighting against the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Chasiv Yar.

In the battles for Chasiv Yar, fighters of the Russian unit 'Akhmat' have been identified, which includes former fighters of the private military company 'Wagner'. This was stated by the spokesperson of the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after King Daniel, Andriy Polukhin.
According to him, the former 'Wagner' fighters are currently operating as part of 'Akhmat' or the SHRG 'Rusich'. The Russian 98th Airborne Division is also participating in the fighting for Chasiv Yar.
Polukhin stated that these military personnel have undergone intensive training and are ready to engage in battles both in urban areas and in open fields.
The spokesperson for the 24th Brigade also emphasized that the situation in Chasiv Yar is very complex, as Russian forces assault Ukrainian positions every day, using small group advance tactics.
It is worth noting that there is no threat of encirclement for Ukrainian troops in the area of Velyka Novosilka. Fighting for the settlement continues.
Additionally, it should be noted that the distance from the front line to the borders of Dnipropetrovsk has decreased to less than 5 km. Currently, Russian forces have reached the settlement of Udachne, located in Donetsk region.
By the way, the full-scale war is currently in its 1068th day.
The enemy conducted 32 airstrikes using 59 KABs, over 650 drone attacks, and carried out more than 4 thousand shellings of our military positions and settlements with various types of weapons.
In total, there were 159 combat engagements over the last day. Ukrainian defenders continue to decisively repel the enemy's attempts to advance deeper into our territory, delivering effective strikes and exhausting them along the entire front line.
