Judge from Vinnytsia dismissed for biased decisions in favor of an acquaintance
The Vinnytsia Regional Prosecutor's Office reports that the judge of the Pishchansky District Court of Vinnytsia region has been dismissed from administering justice due to her biased decisions in favor of an acquaintance. For this, she was brought to disciplinary responsibility and offered to be removed from office, a proposal supported by the High Council of Justice.
Judge was previously convicted for corruption
Previously, the judge had already been convicted of corruption during the consideration of a criminal proceeding, as she made decisions in favor of the defendant with whom she had personal relations.
The High Council of Justice dismissed the judge's complaint
The judge's dismissal from administering justice was supported by the High Council of Justice, which denied the judge's complaint. This misconduct by the judge negatively affected the authority of the justice system.
Sentencing of three suspects in the jewelry store robbery
The Vinnytsia Local Court issued a verdict to three suspects in the robbery of a jewelry store, where the stolen items reached a value of 3.5 million UAH, as well as in the shooting of the store's security guard. This was reported by the Vinnytsia Regional Prosecutor's Office.
The company manager evaded income tax payment
It was also revealed that the manager of a company engaged in retail trade of food products, alcoholic and tobacco products deliberately evaded income tax payment, leading to losses of 4.5 million UAH for the budget. This was reported by the Bureau of Economic Security in Vinnytsia region.
