Fine for Sandwich: Airlines Warn Passengers About the Rule.

A group of experts from European Waterways warns passengers of airlines Jet2, Ryanair, Easyjet, and TUI to be cautious when bringing meat and dairy products from the United Kingdom to European Union countries. These items can be consumed on board the aircraft or at the airport but must be discarded before leaving the terminal or after entering it.
“If you are traveling to the EU from a non-member country, remember that you are not allowed to bring any meat or dairy products with you, even if they are part of your sandwich!” – noted Marianna Sparks, a travel specialist.
At the same Time, the import of fruits, vegetables, eggs, egg products, honey, or fish is permitted only in limited quantities. Passengers are advised to remember that all these items will undergo official checks upon entering the EU to avoid confiscation or fines.
Compliance with import rules is an important condition for avoiding fines and hassles at customs during travel to European countries. It also helps protect the ecosystem and ensure the health and safety of citizens in the countries visited by passengers.
By describing the rules for importing various products into European Union countries, experts emphasize the importance of following them to prevent possible negative consequences for passengers and protect the environment.
