Forecasters warned about dangerous weather phenomena in most regions of Ukraine.


Freezing rain is expected on the roads of Ukraine
Today, January 12, in Ukraine, except for the southern, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kirovohrad regions, freezing rain is expected on the roads. This is reported by 'Ukrhydrometcenter'.
In connection with this, a level I danger has been announced, yellow.
Forecasters warn that such weather conditions may lead to complications in vehicle traffic on certain sections of the roads.
Drivers should be particularly attentive behind the wheel and strictly adhere to traffic rules while driving. Don't forget about seat belts, maintain safe speed and distance, and follow parking rules (so as not to obstruct snow removal equipment).
Pedestrians should cross the road only at designated spots and use reflective elements.
As a reminder, in general, on Sunday, January 12, cloudy weather is expected in Ukraine, with occasional light snow.
In the western regions, during the day, and in the northern and most central regions, light snow and wet snow are expected (moderate snow in the Carpathians at night), at night in the southeastern part rain and wet snow, occasionally wet snow sticking, and no significant precipitation in the rest of the territory.
The wind is predominantly south-western, 5-10 m/s.
Temperature at night -1 to -6 degrees Celsius, during the day from -2 degrees Celsius to +3 degrees Celsius, in the southern part +1 to +6 degrees Celsius. In the highlands of the Carpathians, during the day -5 to -10 degrees Celsius.
