Attack on Russian planes in Ukraine
The General Staff of Ukraine reported that at night, Ukrainian Special Operations Forces units, along with other branches of the Armed Forces, launched an attack on the 'Savasleika' airfield in Russia. This airfield is used by terrorists for attacks on the territory of Ukraine.
«From this military facility, in particular, MiG-31K fighters regularly take off, which can carry 'Kinzhal' missiles. According to preliminary data, two units of enemy aviation equipment (presumably, MiG-31 and Su-30/34 planes) were hit,» the General Staff reported.
This attack was a response to the use of the Russian airfield for illegal bombings during military conflicts in eastern Ukraine. As a result of the operation, planes of the Russian fleet were destroyed, and hangars where additional military vehicles of Russia might have been located were damaged.
The attack carried out by Ukrainian soldiers on the airfield in Russia was a response to the active actions of Russian terrorists against Ukraine and its citizens. Bandits used this airfield in attempts to cause harm to Ukrainian territory, and the Ukrainian military took on the task of eliminating this threat.Read also
