Russian Telegram channels and propaganda media spread information about the shelling of the Nikolsky Cathedral in the village of Epiphany in the Tula Region. According to their reports, a Ukrainian drone allegedly hit the dome of the religious institution, leading to the dome catching fire.
As Russian media reports, the attack on the Nikolsky Cathedral allegedly occurred on the night of May 24 to 25. After the supposed hit of the drone, the dome of the building caught fire.
Additionally, Russian propagandists reported that during the night of May 24 to 25, the Russian air defense, according to their statements, destroyed 20 Ukrainian UAVs of aircraft type. Also, besides the cathedral, several private houses and outbuildings were damaged.
The local governor of the Tula Region confirmed that after the fall of drones in Tula several private homes were damaged, resulting in the need to accommodate residents in hotels.
