The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, visited military units in the Donetsk region, where Ukrainian defenders are fighting against Russian occupiers. He shared this news on social media.

Syrskyi noted that Ukrainian forces are defending in five directions, including Novopavlivskyi, Pokrovskyi, Kramatorskyi, Toretskyi, and the new Dobropillia direction, where Russian forces are trying to break through the defense line.

'We need to strengthen our military potential with qualified personnel and timely and adequate management decisions,' he emphasized.

Assessment of the situation and support for the military

Recently, extremely fierce fighting occurred near Yablunivka, where the enemy launched an attack using armored vehicles. Ukrainian forces repelled the attack, inflicting significant losses on enemy personnel and destroying 20 armored vehicles.

During his trip, the Commander-in-Chief assessed the situation on the ground and issued necessary directives regarding strengthening defense and optimizing its structure. Syrskyi stressed the importance of effective military management in the context of implementing corps reform.

Oleksandr Syrskyi also expressed his gratitude to Ukrainian soldiers for their courage and dedication in the important struggle against the occupiers.
