Ukraine became the target of Russia's attack
On the night of January 15, the Armed Forces of Russia carried out a comprehensive attack on Ukraine using various types of missiles launched from the sky, ground, and sea, as well as Shahed drones and imitation drones. This was reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
«The enemy attacked Ukrainian energy facilities, in particular the gas infrastructure in Kharkiv, Lviv, and Ivano-Frankivsk regions. Unfortunately, as a result of the Russian attack, there are damages to the facilities,» the message said.
In total, the radio-technical troops of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine detected and accompanied 117 aerial targets of the Russian Federation:
- one Iskander-M/KN ballistic missile (launch area - Belgorod region);
- seven X-22/32 cruise missiles from Tu-22M3 aircraft (launch area - Tula region);
- four Kalibr cruise missiles (from the waters of the Black Sea);
- 27 X-101/X-55 cruise missiles from strategic bombers Tu-95MS (launch area - Volgograd region);
- four guided air missiles X-59/X-69 from tactical aviation aircraft (launch area - Belgorod region);
- 74 Shahed strike drones/imitation drones of various types (from the regions of Bryansk, Millerovo, Orel, Primorsko-Akhtarsk).
According to preliminary data, the destruction of 77 aerial targets has been confirmed.
We remind you that on the morning of January 15, the Russians attacked the energy infrastructure of Lviv region. In particular, there were damages to two critical infrastructure facilities in Drohobych and Stryi districts.
