The Right to Defense Under Threat: Lawyer Reveals Alarming Situation in Military Recruitment Centers.

Lawyers Are Not Allowed Access to Clients in Territorial Recruitment Centers
A critical situation has arisen in the Territorial Recruitment Centers (TRC) regarding lawyers' access to their clients, as reported by Oleksiy Zinkov.
According to Zinkov, lawyers are not allowed to provide legal assistance to clients, which is a serious violation of their right to legal aid.
'There is a problem, quite critical, in the TRC lawyers are not allowed to access their clients to provide legal assistance. This essentially violates the right of any person to legal assistance,' Zinkov noted.
Zinkov also mentioned that lawyers are filing criminal complaints regarding violations of defense rights and hindrances to their activities. He pointed out that phones are often taken from clients, and if lawyers show documents confirming their right to provide assistance, TRC staff call the police and file a complaint about obstructing the actions of lawyers.
Zinkov emphasized that this situation is absurd, as lawyers come to provide assistance and do not hinder anyone.
Previously, a lawyer explained whether paying a fine could prevent repeated calls to the TRC.
