Died on the way to the hospital: a 12-year-old boy was electrocuted in the Odesa region after climbing onto a train carriage.


A tragedy occurred in the Podilskyi district of Odesa region – a 12-year-old boy died from an electric shock at a railway station. This information was reported by the Odesa police.
The incident happened on the evening of January 11 at one of the railway stations. The dispatcher informed law enforcement about the incident.
According to preliminary police data, the boy climbed onto a freight train carriage and received an electric shock there.
On the way to the hospital, the boy died.
The police are investigating all the details of the incident and will establish the legal qualification afterward.
Previously, it was reported that a 10-year-old boy in the Ternopil region also had an accident – he was electrocuted by a faulty electric drill. We note that the boy's grandmother tried to help him, but the paramedics diagnosed the boy's death.
A similar situation also occurred in Lviv – an 11-year-old girl climbed onto a train carriage and suffered burns from an electric shock. According to police, the girl, along with her friend, went to the railway to take a selfie. While the girl was climbing onto the carriage, she was electrocuted, fell unconscious, and her friend called for an ambulance.
