Pension at 45: The PFC named two key conditions for military personnel.


Ukrainian military personnel can receive various types of pensions depending on their earnings during service. According to the Pension Fund of Ukraine, the amount of pensions for military personnel can range from 40% to 100% of their support.
There are several types of pensions that can be granted to military personnel depending on their health status, length of service, and family circumstances. One of the most common is a pension for years of service, available for military personnel with more than 25 years of service.
Military personnel who served in the following can receive the pension for years of service:
- the police;
- the militia;
- court security;
- fire protection;
- the anti-corruption bureau;
- the special communications and information protection service;
- economic security;
- tax police;
- penitentiary service;
- civil protection.
In addition to the pension for years of service, military personnel may also receive disability pensions or in the event of the loss of a breadwinner, if there are dependents. The amount of pensions depends on salary during service, health status, and other factors.
To receive a pension, military personnel must submit an application through the appropriate divisions of the Pension Fund. It is important to note that the government has introduced a unified register, which will simplify the procedure for obtaining pensions for all military personnel in Ukraine.
