The patronage services are planned to be introduced in all brigades and battalions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Establishment of support services for military units
Support services will be introduced at the level of brigades and battalions within military units. This initiative was announced by representatives of the Central Department of Civil-Military Cooperation of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during a briefing at Ukrinform.
'We plan to create staffed positions in every military unit, at the level of brigades and battalions. Approximately, each battalion will have up to five positions for support services. Also, such positions are being introduced in all medical institutions of the Ministry of Defense, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and territorial centers,' explained Oleksandr Kutkov, head of the Central Department of Civil-Military Cooperation of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The establishment of patronage services will contribute to the support of the fighting and moral spirit of servicemen after injury and will promote the development of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to Kutkov, such services are filled with individuals who have injuries, disabilities, or have been prisoners of war - about 30% of the services are staffed by such people.
Oksana Korchynska, coordinator and instructor of the training for the Defense Forces Support Services, explained that future patronage services are being trained to support the wounded, prisoners, and families of the missing, providing them with the necessary support in difficult situations.
Analysis
The introduction of support services in the military will help improve conditions for servicemen after injuries, as well as raise the morale of military units. This is an important step in supporting the defenders of the country and their families.
