Mobilization of Educators in Summer: Which Teachers Will Have to Appear at the TCC.

'The Main Government Department has adopted improvements that facilitate the procedure for granting a one-year deferment from mobilization for pedagogical, scientific, and scientific-pedagogical workers engaged in the field of education,' emphasized Melnychuk.
Now teachers of general educational institutions, vocational education workers, lecturers of specialized educational institutions, and scientific workers of higher educational institutions and scientific organizations who have academic degrees can obtain deferments.
Conditions for Extending the Deferment
An educator wishing to obtain a deferment must have permanent employment at an educational institution with a pedagogical load of no less than 0.75 of a full position. Such deferment is granted for 12 months but cannot exceed the period of mobilization established by the presidential decree.
In case of an extension of the mobilization period, education workers must contact the local military recruitment office seven days before the previous term expires. They must provide documents confirming their position, place of work, and volume of pedagogical load.
Thanks to the expanded opportunity for educators to obtain a deferment from mobilization, teachers are provided with more flexible and straightforward conditions in case of military service calls. The new rules allow educators to extend the deferment in case of changes to mobilization terms, as well as provide additional Time for preparation and organization of the application procedure for status, if necessary.
