Wants War: Zelensky's Team Expresses Strong Discontent About Trump and Putin's Negotiations.

Mikhail Podolyak's Position on the Phone Conversation Between Trump and Putin
Advisor to the Head of the President's Office Andriy Yermak, Mikhail Podolyak, expressed his disappointment following the phone conversation between U.S. leader Donald Trump and Russian dictator Vladimir Putin. According to Podolyak, the situation has not changed, and Ukraine continues to propose a ceasefire as the only possible path to peace.
He also noted that the initiative for an immediate cessation of hostilities is receiving support from European countries, which recognize the consequences of the war for the entire continent. Meanwhile, in the U.S., there are hopes for possible rational agreements with the Kremlin to secure economic interests.
'And there is the unchanged position of Russia, which still wants war, destruction, and killings because it sees them as the only way for its current state to exist. There is Russia, which is not ready and categorically does not want a ceasefire. And there is some obsessive striving for 'searching and eliminating the root causes of the war', although the only true cause is the very fact of Russia's unprovoked aggression.'
Podolyak also emphasized that deeply analyzing the causes of the war is unwise, because there is only one true reason - Russia's aggression. Currently, the question remains about Trump's readiness to strengthen sanctions after the conversation with Putin, which is a topic of discussion in the media.
