Former youth national team player of France buys Lithuanian club.


Ukrainian footballer Moussa Dembele has learned that he has acquired the Lithuanian club 'Minija', which plays in the second league of Lithuania. This information was disclosed by the portal Talksport.
Dembele, who currently plays for the team 'Al-Ettifaq', purchased the club through his investment group Tripple M. Previously, he also became a co-owner of the Malian club 'Mansu'.
Currently, 'Minija' is in 9th place in the first league of Lithuania, having earned 6 points after 5 rounds.
Moussa Dembele has previously played for teams such as 'Fulham', 'Celtic', 'Lyon', and 'Atletico' (Madrid), as well as for the youth national team of France.
Thanks to his performances, Dembele has twice become the champion of Scotland, won the Scottish Cup twice, and the Scottish League Cup.
Additionally, in other news, the results of the Champions League semifinals were reported. 'Real' Madrid lost to 'Arsenal' with a score of 1:2, making the aggregate score 1:5 in favor of the London team. 'Inter' Milan played a draw with 'Bayern' with a score of 2:2, while the aggregate score in their confrontation became 4:3 in favor of the Italian team.
In the Champions League semifinals, 'Arsenal' will face 'Paris Saint-Germain', and 'Inter' Milan will play against 'Barcelona'. The first matches of these confrontations will take place on April 29 and 30, 2025, and the return matches on May 6 and 7, 2025. The Champions League final is scheduled for May 31, 2025, at the 'Allianz Arena' in Munich.
