The HUR's drones attacked a Russian oil refining complex
On the night of March 8, the 'Kirishnefteorgsintez' oil refining complex in the Leningrad region of Russia was attacked by HUR drones. This information was confirmed by the regional governor based on reports from local public sources and military sources.
One of the facility's tanks was damaged during the attack, which occurred around six in the morning. This attack aimed to disrupt the hydrocarbon sector in Russia,» the governor stated.
Also, four days after the attack on 'Kirishnefteorgsintez', drones attacked an oil refinery in the Samara region. This plant produces fuel, aviation kerosene, and bitumen, and operates according to Euro-5 standards, processing oil from Western Siberia and the Samara region.
