Commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Major General Mykhailo Drapatyy, prohibited the transfer of communication specialists to infantry positions, reports the 'Military' portal. This decision was made after analyzing military units and discovering cases of unjustified transfers of communication specialists to infantry units.
As a result of such transfers, units were unable to effectively manage their subunits at the contact line
Therefore, the commander equated professions in the field of communication to high-tech specialties and prohibited the transfer of specialists to positions of other specialties. The General Staff assured that the same decision applied to the transfer of engineering and aviation specialists to infantry and other units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
