Official in Odesa region sold work experience - price of the issue.

The official of the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi City Council demanded money from a man who lacked work experience to qualify for a pension. The woman was caught red-handed during the money transfer; she faces up to 10 years in prison.
This was reported by the Main Department of the National Police in the Odesa region.
Details of the case
The head of one of the departments of the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi City Council learned that a local resident lacked 10 years of work and insurance experience to qualify for a pension. The woman then offered to forge documents for which she demanded 400 euros. Law enforcement documented the illegal actions of the official and detained her immediately after receiving the second part of the bribe amounting to 10,200 hryvnias. The money was seized as evidence.
What punishment is threatened
The suspect has been notified of suspicion under Part 3 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (receipt of unlawful benefit by a public official using their official position, combined with extortion). She faces up to 10 years in prison with confiscation of property.
Recall that recently we wrote about a postal worker who stole money from pensioners. And also about a police officer who took payment for transportation during curfew.
The message that the official of the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi city council was caught in bribery indicates that corrupt practices are still relevant in Ukrainian society. The illegal practice of extorting monetary rewards for services or forging documents not only violates the law but also deprives people of their opportunity to legally obtain pensions or other social benefits.Read also
