No more 'buts': Ukrainian drivers will face two changes starting May 1.

Starting May 1, two important changes will be introduced for drivers in Ukraine. The first change concerns the sale of gasoline. Now, all gas stations will sell gasoline with a content of bioethanol (no less than 5%). This change applies to all gas stations in the country, with some exceptions. Car owners who use gasoline will notice this change.
The second change concerns traffic lights. According to the new State standard, the green traffic signal will be replaced with an emerald one. This change will improve visibility and safety on the road. Studies have shown that the emerald color is better perceived by road users, even in bright sunlight or rainy weather. Ophthalmologists have also confirmed that the emerald color is easier to distinguish for people with visual impairments.
These changes are aimed at improving road safety and reducing the impact of automotive transport on the environment. They will come into effect on May 1.
