The Russian Army is increasing the use of drones at the border.

The Russian troops in the region have made changes to their tactics to avoid detection and defeat of their small assault groups. Now their activity is marked by a more active use of drones instead of quad bikes or motorcycles, as reported by State Border Service representative Andriy Demchenko.
'Activity has somewhat decreased, especially regarding the use of quad bikes or motorcycles,' emphasized Demchenko.
Although they continue to use small assault groups, the novelty in their tactics has been a significant increase in the number of drones, which complicates their detection and neutralization by conventional means.
Changes in the tactics of Russian troops in Sumy are characterized by a decrease in the activity of small assault groups and an increase in the use of drones, which may indicate their attempt to act more cautiously and avoid large losses during combat operations.
